This homemade sticky date pudding creates a layer of spiced caramel sauce under the cake as it bakes – what a perfect treat!

  • 3/4 cup So Good Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups self-raising wholemeal flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 100 g pitted dates, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the topping 

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbs non-dairy butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup So Good Unsweetened Almond Milk
