Five Seed Ricies™ Bars

A great snack crafted with love and packed with seeds and crunchy Ricies.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or bean paste
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups Sanitarium™ Ricies™
  • ? cup chia seeds
  • ? cup pumpkin seeds
  • ? cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or apricots
  • ? cup shredded coconut
  • 3 Tbsp LSA

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Grease and line a 27 x 21cm baking tin.
  3. Place the vanilla, maple syrup, rice malt syrup and cinnamon in a small bowl and stir to combine.
  4. In a large bowl add the remaining ingredients and pour over the wet ingredients and mix until evenly combined. Transfer into the prepared tin and firmly press down. Part slice into 5.4 x 7 cm rectangles to make cutting easier once cooked.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Allow to cool before refrigerating for 30 minutes to firm up. Slice all the way through to make 15 bars. Store in the fridge.
