Lactose intolerance

Lactose is a type of sugar found naturally in all milk produced by mammals – including cow’s milk, goat’s milk and even human breast milk. For lactose to be absorbed and used by the body it needs to be broken down by an enzyme called lactase. People with lactose intolerance have a deficiency in lactase and cannot completely digest lactose.

People with lactose intolerance may experience various gastrointestinal symptoms when they consume lactose in foods and beverages. Lactose intolerance is more common in people of certain ethnicities, but can also occur temporarily after a bout of gastroenteritis . This type of lactose deficiency can present at any age, but more likely so in infants.

So Good makes it easy to be lactose-free.
